Pilbara Building Company was engaged to deliver the fit-out of the headspace Karratha centre, creating a welcoming and functional environment tailored to the needs of local youth, adolescents, and their families accessing mental health support services.

Delivered in collaboration with the project design team, the centre was carefully planned to balance functionality, privacy, and user experience. A vibrant and engaging interior palette was incorporated throughout the facility, with individually themed consulting rooms providing a calming and intuitive wayfinding approach for visitors who may be feeling vulnerable or anxious.

The project included consulting and GP rooms, collaborative staff workspaces, flexible meeting and group therapy areas, family amenities, and staff facilities. Particular consideration was given to acoustic separation, confidentiality, and the creation of adaptable spaces to support both individual and group-based services.
