Pilbara Building Company was engaged following a successful tender process to deliver a new office fitout for State Government Community Housing and Child Protection services within The Quarter Building, Karratha. The project brought multiple government agencies together in a modern, centralised workplace designed to support staff wellbeing and inter-department collaboration.

The fit-out included meeting rooms, contact and therapy spaces, open-plan workstations, and staff breakout areas. Delivered within a live, multi-tenancy building, the project required careful planning to manage noise, access, and safety. Noisy works were staged outside business hours, and an innovative material-handling solution was implemented to safely deliver materials to the first floor, reducing manual handling risk and maintaining programme certainty.
